LSB: How is the current Life Settlement Industry?

Roy: It is a huge buyers market. For the firms that have funds they are really cherry picking the best policies and offering the lowest amounts.

LSB: Are you seeing more or less consumer action?

Roy: We are seeing a large increase in consumer activity. The only problem is that we have to pre-screen policies a lot stricter. Brokers have costs associated with processing files so we have to turn down a lot of potential clients.

LSB: Do you think new regulations will have an effect?

Roy: We are looking forward to more licensing and regulation. Not only will this add more legitimacy to the industry, but we will feel it will also add more positive exposure to the industry.
